• Day= On December 18th 2011, Disneyland Paris was complete pandemonium, the queues for the good rides, like Space Mountain, Aerosmith, etc., were 1 hour long. So you have to go on all the baby rides like It’s A Small World. I am not saying that it is a bad ride, it is acutuly quite good, it has a catchy tune that goes with it and because it is a family ride you can fit four people in each row  in the boat so the queue moves quick. So you know, you cannot go on the good rides by day. So what do you do? Well, from personal experience, as a kid, I stayed at Sequoia Lodge so me and my brother only know one way to enjoy Disney by day, and that is to go to the swimming pool in the afternoon. The reason for this is beacuse there is a pine green water slide and oak brown stones around it so we muck about in the pool for two hours until  four o’clock. Then we go to our room and relax. Later we walk down the corridor on the flower patterned carpet to the ice cube dispenser to collect ice cubes for the drinks in our room. Our room number was 314. We then get ready for dinner. We have two restaurants at the Sequoia Lodge, one is called The Steak House and the other is called The Buffet so me and my family decide to go to The Buffet. When we walk in we get put in the comfortable chairs, so I was happy. Then me and my elder brother go up to the buffet and we look and I see cream cheese potatoes, also known as Dauphanese  potatoes, so I eat them and now I love them.

Night= So, I told you that by day Disneyland Paris is complete and utter pandemonium, but by night Disneyland Paris is like a ghost town. This is because all the shops have closed, so most of the people have gone. This makes the queues shorter, and for some rides, no queue at all. By night you can go on the big rides like Space Mountain, Aerosmith, Tower of Terror without having to queue, so much so, that me and my brother went on Aerosmith eight times in a row.

You can, if you stay at a Disneyland Hotel, get early access to the park, but the downfall of this is that not all the big rides are open because they are still being safety tested. Also, by night the staff are more lenient because sometimes they let you stay on the ride and just keep going round. Also, they allow you to have your arms out, whereas by day they stop you.

My conclusion is that if you plan to visit Disneyland Paris with your family or friends, save the big thrill rides for the evening or when the big parades are on. Make sure you see the parades early in your visit then you can miss them to get on the rides. By Louis Parsons
